Description: Daughter of Ezzolino II and sister of Ezzolino III, Cunizza left her husband (Count Riccardo di San Bonifazio of Verona) in the 1220s and became the lover of the troubador Sordello; after another love affair and two more marriages, she moved to Florence. In her last years she turned to God and emancipated all her father's and brother's servants.
